DESCRIPTION
Palazzo Cardinal Cesi is located directly at St. Peters Square. Over the centuries, since it was built in 1400, it has belonged to important roman families, including the Cesi family, which has solicitors and barristers, senators, bishops and cardinals amongst its members. In 1600, Cardinal Pierdonato Cesi acquired Palazzo Cesi and restored the building, transforming it into a real museum for antiques and works of art, and in a well stocked library. Now the Salvatorian Order has transformed part of the building into a guest house which opend tis doors to the customers in June 2004.
